Yoruba Group Accuses PDP Of Plot To Undermine Amotekun Operations

A Yoruba group has warned the Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Event, PDP, in opposition to propagating an agenda to undermine the operations of the Southwest Security Group, additionally referred to as Amotekun.

The group, Yoruba Youth Indigenous Movement, YYIM, which alleged of a switch to scuttle the operations of Amotekun throughout the South-west said the plot could be met with resistance.

Reacting to the allegation, the Publicity Secretary of PDP throughout the State, Kennedy Peretei berated the coordinator of the group, Adekola for making “ridiculous and senseless allegation.”

Whereas emphasising that the questions the event had earlier raised in opposition to Amotekun weren’t addressed, Peretie maintained that the group was participating in ethnic card.

“We’d like not reply to people whose mouths are managed by their stomachs,” he declared.
